Since the game's October 30, 2024 launch, he's purchased the maximum 720 Poké Gold daily, totaling an estimated $8,500 (excluding any sales or discounts). This daily expenditure allowed him to amass 50,000 cards.
His collection showcases dedication, encompassing cards from the Genetic Apex (A1) and Mythical Island booster packs, along with limited-time promotional cards. The recently released "Pokedex" Trainer card, awarded for global card collection milestones, is also part of his impressive haul.
McDonald's x Pokémon TCG Pocket Happy Meal Collaboration
The Pokémon Company announced a surprise collaboration with McDonald's on January 21, 2025. Happy Meals now include exclusive Pokémon-themed boxes containing collectible physical cards and in-game items.

Pokémon TCG Pocket's Upcoming Trading Feature
On January 17, 2025, Pokémon TCG Pocket announced details of its upcoming trading feature on Twitter (X). Trading will initially be limited to friends with cards of matching rarity (1-4 diamonds and 1-star). Rarer cards (Special Illustration Rare, Immersive, Crown Rares) are excluded. A consumable item, similar to Stardust in Pokémon GO, will facilitate trades.
