Unlock the "Pose of the Unbound" Emote in FFXIV Patch 7.16!
FFXIV patch 7.16 introduces exciting new quests and cosmetic rewards. This guide focuses on obtaining the coveted "Pose of the Unbound" emote.
Obtaining the Emote:
To acquire this emote, you must complete the quest "Imposing Views." This quest is available from the Unbound Agent NPC located in Ul'dah – Steps of Thal (coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5).
Prerequisites:
Before "Imposing Views" becomes available, you must first complete "Picking Up the Torch." This requires finishing all five role quests in the game. This means reaching level 100 and completing the role quests for a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS class. These role quests are obtained in Tulliyollal.
Completing "Imposing Views":
"Imposing Views" is a relatively simple quest. You'll visit the Sagolii Desert, interact with Apyaahi several times, and engage in some combat. Upon completion, you'll receive the "Pose of the Unbound" emote.
Using the Emote:
To use your new emote, simply type "/unbound" or "/poseoftheunbound" into the chat box and press Enter. Your character will then strike a humorous, Jojo-esque pose.
