It’s become a tradition for popular esports game developers to make major announcements just before the grand finals of their world championships. Ubisoft, in keeping with this trend, and with Rainbow Six Siege entering its tenth year, delivered a significant reveal: Siege X.
This isn't simply a sequel, nor is it a minor update. Think of the relationship between Siege X and Rainbow Six Siege as similar to that of Counter-Strike 2 and Global Offensive: a massive upgrade transforming the experience while preserving player progress and data.
Further details will be unveiled during a special three-hour presentation on March 13th, featuring a live audience in Atlanta. To commemorate Rainbow Six Siege’s decade-long run, Ubisoft has also released a celebratory pack offering legendary skins from the game's earliest seasons—a comprehensive collection of classic cosmetics.
