What is Group Ironman Mode?
This hardcore co-op experience retains many of the classic Ironman mode restrictions, but loosens things up for teamwork. Forget the Grand Exchange safety net, handouts, and XP boosts – in Group Ironman, you rely entirely on each other. Gather resources, craft gear, build skills, and battle foes as a united force.
Group Ironman allows collaborative participation in specific minigames, Distractions and Diversions, and unlocks unique group-exclusive content. A new island, the Iron Enclave, serves as your team's base of operations.

For the truly competitive, RuneScape also introduces Competitive Group Ironman mode. This mode tests your ability to thrive without external assistance. Certain group-oriented activities are off-limits, including: Blast Furnace, Conquest, Deathmatch, Fishing Trawler, Fist of Guthix, The Great Orb Project, Heist, Pest Control, Soul Wars, Stealing Creation, and Trouble Brewing.
