Rescuing Ratatoskr: A Guide for Marvel Rivals in Central Park

Author : Allison Apr 20,2025

Embarking on the second set of challenges for Midnight Features II in *Marvel Rivals* introduces you to the hero Squirrel Girl, but one task stands out as particularly tricky: rescuing Ratatoskr in Central Park. Here's a detailed guide on how to accomplish this feat.

Who Is Ratatoskr in Marvel Rivals?

To successfully navigate the Midnight Features II challenges and secure your rewards, getting acquainted with Ratatoskr is crucial. Contrary to the rumors swirling around New York that Squirrel Girl has morphed into a monster, Ratatoskr is an Asgardian creature in the form of a squirrel. Historically, she served as a messenger for Asgard's inhabitants but has a penchant for escaping and causing chaos. In the current scenario, Ratatoskr finds herself trapped in a Dracula-controlled New York, and it's up to you to orchestrate her escape.

How To Rescue Ratatoskr in Central Park in Marvel Rivals

Ratatoskr in Marvel Rivals.

Central Park, designated as the special map for Season 1.5 of *Marvel Rivals*, mirrors the flexibility of Midtown from Season 1's start. Unlike other maps in Quick Match and Competitive modes that are randomly selected, players have the freedom to choose Central Park. However, rescuing Ratatoskr five times swiftly will require a bit of luck.

When playing on the Central Park map, you'll spot a giant squirrel, Ratatoskr, chained in the center. To free her, you must be on the attacking team. The gameplay mechanics are similar to those on a Convoy map; your team needs to reach Ratatoskr and fill progress bars to release her. But the challenge doesn't end there—you must also escort her across the map to secure victory.

Successfully freeing Ratatoskr five times means repeatedly playing on Central Park until you're on the attacking side enough times to achieve the goal. Keep in mind, both the Central Park mode and the Midnight Features II challenges are time-limited, so procrastination isn't an option. Fortunately, you can work on other Midnight Features III quests simultaneously as you strive to bring the squirrel back home.
