Reverse: 1999's Version 2.0 update, "Floor It! To the Golden City," transports players to a vibrant 1990s San Francisco. This update introduces a new 6-star Spirit character, Mercuria, a free-spirited dancer, obtainable through the "Calming Hues in Frenzied Nights" banner.

Mercuria's unique story unfolds in "On the Thousandth Night." Version 2.0 also includes Halloween-themed events:
- Gift Mails: Containing Clear Drops and growth materials.
- Bayside Beats I Event: Offering seven free pulls (available until November 3rd).
- Bayside Beats I Sign-in Event: Runs until November 21st.
- Gift of the Stars: Provides 600 Clear Drops and limited-time candy (available until December 5th).
- New 16-Bit Revelry Garments: Retro-styled outfits for Spathodea, Kanjira, and Sputnik, available through various in-game events.
Discovery Channel Collaboration:
Reverse: 1999 partners with the Discovery Channel for a limited-time crossover event (November 14th - December 12th), featuring exclusive Discovery Channel-themed outfits, in-game structures, and other items. Expect to see Reverse: 1999 featured on Discovery Channel programming.
