Riichi City's July Danganronpa Crossover: A Mahjong Mystery!
Riichi City is diving headfirst into a month-long collaboration with the popular Danganronpa detective game series. Players find themselves thrust into a thrilling, amnesia-inducing mystery, relying on their mahjong skills and wits to escape a perplexing situation. The event kicks off July 1st.
The event's central mystery: all participants wake up with no memory, trapped in a room with an unfinished mahjong game. This high-stakes mahjong match requires players to gather "Truth Bullets" to unravel the enigma.
A new minigame, "Mahjong Machine Gun," adds a rhythmic twist to the gameplay. Players must match the rhythm to smash mahjong tiles and face off against the iconic Monokuma. Seven days of logins during the event unlock special rewards.
Danganronpa's All-Star Lineup (Slightly Amnesiac)
Familiar faces from the Danganronpa universe join the Riichi City crew. Makoto Naegi, the Ultimate Lucky Student (whose luck seems to have temporarily deserted him), Kyoko Kirigiri, the enigmatic Ultimate Detective, and other beloved characters participate in this unique minigame event.
Celestia Ludenberg, the Ultimate Gambler, adds her signature flair to the chaos, making extravagant bets (though the stakes remain a mystery). Junko Enoshima, the Ultimate Despair, seems to revel in the overall confusion.
Summer Swimsuits and Seaside Shenanigans
Each Danganronpa character sports two distinct swimsuit outfits. Makoto Naegi's "Summer in the South" and "Underwater World" outfits showcase his laid-back and adventurous sides. Kyoko Kirigiri's "Summer in the South: Tranquil Shallows" outfit reveals a playful personality. Celestia Ludenberg's glamorous "Queen of the Sands" ensemble reinforces her commanding presence. Finally, Junko Enoshima's "Party Time" swimsuit embodies her chaotic nature, while her second outfit hints at hidden depths.
