Meteorfall series developer Slothwerks returns with a fresh card-battling entry. Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble is now available for pre-registration on Android. Following Meteorfall (2017) and Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale (2019), this marks the third installment in the franchise, scheduled to launch next month.
What’s the Setting?
This is a roguelike deckbuilder. Matches are quick, and victory often comes from creatively bending the rules rather than strictly following them. You'll play cards to entertain a ruthless audience. You control a squad of three heroes, selected from a roster of eight, each equipped with a unique deck.
With over 200 cards in the game, you can apply layered upgrades to customize them during a run. Wild Cards allow you to break standard combat rules, and you can perform mid-battle feats to earn powerful buffs.
Between matches, you’ll spend time in Bramble Town, where you’ll face crucial decisions. Do you improve your deck, train your team, or simply explore and absorb the strange atmosphere?
Pre-Registration for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble Is Now Live
The game was initially revealed as Bramble Royale, but feedback indicated many players assumed it was a battle royale title. Consequently, the developers officially renamed it to Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble two weeks ago.
This is a strategic move, as reusing the Meteorfall name instantly connects it to the same offbeat and distinctive universe. To see the game in action, check out the preview below.
Fans of the series can pre-register for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble via the Google Play Store. The game is slated for release on June 25th, 2025, and will be priced at $6.99.
