S8UL to Represent India at WCS Finals After Pokémon Unite Qualifiers

Author : Emily May 14,2025

The esports scene is buzzing with excitement as S8UL secures their spot to represent India at the Pokémon Unite World Championship Series (WCS). This achievement comes after a rollercoaster journey for the team, which faced a setback with a disappointing early exit from the Asia Champions League (ACL). However, S8UL has now bounced back stronger, earning their place in the WCS Finals set to take place in the USA this August.

The path to qualification was fraught with challenges. S8UL started their campaign in the India Qualifiers on a rough note, losing their opening match and being relegated to the lower bracket. Despite the uphill battle, they showcased their resilience and skill, triumphing over formidable opponents such as Team Dynamis, QML, and Revenant XSpark to clinch the qualification.

This isn't the first time S8UL has aimed for the global stage. They were slated to represent India at the 2024 WCS as well, but visa issues prevented them from competing in Honolulu. With cross-border travel to the US still presenting challenges, the team will be hoping for a smoother journey this time around as they prepare for the WCS 2025 finals.

As the esports community rallies behind S8UL, fans are eager to see how they'll perform on the world stage.
