EA's long-running mobile game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, is closing its doors. After twelve years of letting players build their own Springfield, the game will be sunsetting.
The Shutdown Timeline:
In-app purchases are already unavailable. The game will be removed from app stores on October 31st, 2024. Servers will finally shut down on January 24th, 2025. EA expressed gratitude to players for their decade-plus of support in their announcement.

If you've never experienced the joy of rebuilding Springfield after Homer's nuclear mishap, now's your chance! The game lets you manage the town, interact with beloved characters like Fat Tony and Daredevil Bart, expand to Springfield Heights, and even run Apu's Kwik-E-Mart.
The Simpsons: Tapped Out is a freemium game with regular updates reflecting show storylines and real-world events. While the game is free, in-game donuts are the key to faster progress.
