The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card hit the market on April 16, marking its entry as the most budget-friendly Blackwell GPU available. Unfortunately, it debuted as a "paper" launch, with actual retail units scarce and often available only at a significant markup. However, for those in the market for a complete prebuilt gaming PC featuring this new GPU, the outlook is much more promising. There's a solid selection of reasonably priced prebuilt gaming PCs on offer, particularly from Skytech at Amazon. The two most affordable options we've spotted so far are both Skytech models, starting at an attractive price of $1,249.99, making them excellent choices for a current-generation gaming rig capable of handling 1080p and 1440p resolutions.

The RTX 5060 Ti steps up from its predecessor, the RTX 4060 Ti, offering a performance boost of about 15%-20% in gaming. This improvement outshines the generational leap seen in the RTX 5070 compared to the RTX 4070. From a value standpoint, the RTX 5060 Ti is the top Blackwell card for 1080p gaming and is well-equipped to manage 1440p gaming, especially with the aid of DLSS 4. While the RTX 5070 boasts greater power, prebuilt systems featuring it start at a much steeper $1,700-$1,800, making the price difference challenging to justify for gamers focusing on 1440p or lower resolutions.
GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Review by James Archer (Rock Paper Shotgun)
"The RTX 5060 Ti upholds the esteemed tradition of the XX60 Ti series, delivering smooth, budget-friendly performance at 1440p. In comparison to the pricier RTX 5070, it significantly advances native-resolution, pre-DLSS frame rates beyond those of the 40 series. Consequently, the RTX 5060 Ti emerges as one of the more successful RTX 50 series graphics cards, and the go-to choice for budget-conscious gamers aiming for at least 1440p performance."
