Sonic Rumble: A chaotic party game in the style of Fall Guys, featuring Sonic and his friends, is gearing up for launch! Following a successful closed beta test (CBT) in May, the game is now in its pre-launch phase.
Sonic Rumble Pre-Launch Rollout:
SEGA's phased pre-launch strategy begins in the Philippines (Android and iOS). This first phase, running throughout the summer, will be followed by a data wipe.
Phase 2 will expand the pre-launch to Peru and Colombia in the fall. Further regions will be added in Phase 3 (regions yet to be announced).
Global pre-registration will open after Phase 3, likely before the end of the year or early next year. The timing suggests SEGA aims to capitalize on the recent success of Fall Guys.
Gameplay:
Sonic Rumble offers a collection of mini-games packed with zany obstacles and challenges. Play solo or team up with friends. Unlike the simple race to the finish seen in Fall Guys, Sonic Rumble incorporates classic Sonic villains like Dr. Eggman, adding an extra layer of unpredictable chaos to the gameplay. Expect plenty of obstacle dodging and villain encounters!
