This event, featuring a different Pokémon each week, takes place every Tuesday. Trainers can earn rewards and even encounter Shiny Pokémon. Extra Pokémon can be transferred for bonus candies to quickly evolve the featured creature.
Roselia Spotlight Hour Details
- Date & Time: January 14th, 2025, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
- Preparation: Stock up on berries, Poké Balls, and Incense to maximize your catches.
- Bonus: 2x Catch XP.
- Featured Pokémon: Roselia (#0315, Hoenn Region).
Roselia is a Grass/Poison-type Pokémon with a max CP of 2114, 186 Attack, and 131 Defense. It evolves from Budew (25 Candies) to Roselia, then to Roserade (100 Candies + Sinnoh Stone). Catching a Roselia yields 3 Candies and 100 Stardust. It's tradable within Pokémon GO and can be transferred to Pokémon Home.
Roselia Strengths & Weaknesses:
- Weaknesses: Fire, Flying, Ice, and Psychic-type attacks (160% increased damage).
- Resistances: Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and Water-type attacks (63% reduced damage). Grass-type attacks cause 39% reduced damage.
- Best Moveset: Poison Jab and Sludge Bomb (10.96 DPS, 99.91 TDO). Attack boosted in Cloudy Weather.
Shiny Roselia:
A Shiny Roselia exists, featuring a brighter green body and purple/black roses. Increase your chances by using Incense and berries to secure a catch.
