Netflix has officially announced that *Squid Game Season 3* will premiere on June 27, 2025. To build anticipation, the streaming giant has released a new poster and images, offering fans "a tantalizing glimpse into the fate of the surviving players."
Picking up seamlessly from where Season 2 concluded, Season 3 delves into the critical choices that Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) must navigate amidst "overwhelming despair." As the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) strategizes his next move, the stakes are higher than ever for the surviving players, whose decisions lead to increasingly dire outcomes in each round of the deadly games. Netflix promises that this season will "push the limits of suspense and drama, keeping viewers glued to the action."
The newly unveiled launch poster depicts a chilling scene of a pink guard dragging a bloodied contestant toward a coffin adorned with a pink ribbon. "Gone is the rainbow-hued track of Season 2’s six-legged pentathlon; in its place, a vividly swirling flower-pattern floor ominously foreshadows the cutthroat finale to come," according to Netflix. The poster also features the sinister silhouettes of Young-hee and her companion Cheol-su, hinting at even more brutal games on the horizon, as first teased in the previous season's post-credit scene.
