Street Fighter 6 meta - which characters are most popular on top level

As the Capcom Pro Tour takes a brief hiatus, the stage is set for Capcom Cup 11, where we already know all 48 participants. However, instead of focusing on the world's best players, let's dive into the characters they've chosen to wield in battle.

With the World Warrior circuit concluded, EventHubs has provided insightful statistics on the most popular Street Fighter 6 characters among top-tier players. These stats offer a clear snapshot of the current game balance. Remarkably, all 24 fighters in the roster are represented, showcasing the diversity of character selection at the highest level. Interestingly, out of nearly two hundred players (specifically, eight finalists from 24 regions), only one player opted for Ryu. Even the latest addition to the lineup, Terry Bogard, found favor with two players.

The professional scene currently sees Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison as the most popular characters, each chosen by 17 players. Following them, there's a noticeable gap before we reach the next tier, which includes Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (both with 11 players), and JP and Chun-Li (both with 10 players). Among the less popular choices, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each being the main character for seven players.

Mark your calendars for Capcom Cup 11, set to take place this March in Tokyo. The stakes are high, with a prize of one million dollars awaiting the tournament's victor. This event promises to be an electrifying showcase of skill and strategy, as players from around the globe compete to claim the top spot and the grand prize.
