Subway Surfers Marks 13th Anniversary with Global Event

Author : Savannah May 28,2025

Subway Surfers, a legendary name in mobile gaming and one of the most iconic titles ever released, is gearing up to celebrate its 13th anniversary! To mark this incredible milestone, the developers at Sybo are rolling out an exhilarating new event that fans will absolutely adore, particularly those who relish the global adventure of the World Tour series.

This highly anticipated update is scheduled to launch on May 12th, bringing with it the 200th destination in the World Tour! However, rather than jumping straight to the new locale, the emphasis is on exploring every existing city—each day unveiling a fresh surprise city to discover.

By collecting all the suitcase tokens in these daily surprise cities, players will unlock brand-new locations to visit. Gather all the World Tour suitcase keys within a particular city to progress to the next, and embark on a journey through iconic cities like Paris, Rio, and Tokyo.

ytA Journey Like No Other
The travel theme extends beyond destinations, introducing two new characters—Loc and Stevie—and a host of fresh outfits, boards, and other premium rewards. Given how crucial the World Tour has been in keeping players engaged, it’s no surprise that it takes center stage during such a significant moment in the game’s history.

Although Subway Surfers has spawned countless spin-offs over the years, the original remains the fan favorite and the gold standard. As Sybo continues to push boundaries, one wonders how many more milestones this global phenomenon can achieve.
