Potch is the in-game currency. A Fortune Orb doubles the experience gained by the player holding it, while a Prosperity Orb doubles the currency a character receives from battles. Note that the main character of the first Suikoden game cannot hold both orbs simultaneously.
What is Suikoden I & II HD Remaster?
Originally released in Japan on the PlayStation in 1995, with the sequel following in 1998, *Suikoden I & II* made their way to Western audiences a year later. Each game in the series challenges you to recruit 108 warriors to join your cause and battle against the forces of evil.
This remaster maintains the charm of the original pixelated graphics while enhancing them to fit modern widescreen displays. Spell effects have been refined for smoother visuals, and character portraits have been redrawn in HD. Alongside these graphical improvements, the remaster introduces quality-of-life features such as the ability to speed up battles, an auto-battle mode, auto-save functionality, and a conversation log to prevent missing important dialogue. The user interface has also been revamped, making tasks like changing equipment more intuitive.
