RuneScape's latest Dev's Diary for April introduces an exciting new quest titled "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly," available from today until April 28th. In this quest, players are tasked with navigating the treacherous Shifting Tombs alongside familiar characters Leela and Ozan, with the ultimate goal of altering the fate of the Kharidian desert.
Here's the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape
The situation in the Kharidian desert has escalated, with Menaphos teetering on the brink of collapse following Osman's shocking betrayal. The city is rife with division, and the ominous presence of Amascut looms in the shadows, setting the stage for even greater challenges beyond the Shifting Tombs.
Fortunately, players won't face these trials alone. Leela, along with new allies and even some pets, will join forces with you to delve into Menaphos' ancient secrets and unravel the true motives behind Osman's actions.
Heading Back into the Heat Again
Completing Pharaoh’s Folly comes with rewarding benefits, including Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a new item, Leela’s Favour bracelet. This bracelet enhances mobility by allowing teleportation across all Menaphos districts, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.
However, embarking on the "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly" quest is not for the faint-hearted or underprepared. Players must have achieved a Slayer level of 87, completed the initial quest "Beneath Scabaras’ Sands," and fulfilled specific requirements from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, certain structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline must be built. Only then can you meet Leela at the gates of Menaphos and attempt to rescue the city from its dire fate.
If you meet these criteria, don't miss your chance to dive into the adventure—download RuneScape from the Google Play Store and embark on your journey back to the desert!
