Author : Isabella May 17,2025

Get ready for an action-packed Pokémon GO Fashion Week: Taken Over, running from January 15th to January 19th. This event promises thrilling encounters with Team Go Rocket, who will be more active than ever at PokéStops and in balloons. Seize the opportunity to battle Giovanni and rescue the powerful Shadow Palkia. Additionally, on January 19th, you can participate in Ho-Oh's Shadow Raid Day, where you'll have a higher chance of encountering a Shiny Ho-Oh that can learn the powerful Charged Attack, Sacred Fire. Don't miss out on the chance to purchase an event ticket for $5 to enjoy numerous extra rewards during this Raid Day.

During Fashion Week, two new Pokémon will make their debut: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. You can hatch Shroodle from 12 km Eggs, adding exciting new members to your collection. Make sure to use your Charged TMs to help your Shadow Pokémon forget the Frustration move, as Team Go Rocket will be appearing more frequently, giving you ample opportunities to battle and rescue them.

A variety of new Shadow Pokémon will be available, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Some of these might even be Shiny, adding an extra layer of excitement to your rescues. Engage in Shadow Raids to battle these Pokémon, and for the first time, you can use Remote Raid Passes to join these raids from anywhere.
