RuneScape's newest challenge, the Gate of Elidinis, is now live! This challenging new story quest and skilling boss fight tasks players with restoring the corrupted statue of Elidinis.
Continuing the fight against Amascut's corruption (following the "Ode of the Devourer" quest), players will face a corrupted spiritual passage. The Gate of Elidinis, once a peaceful place for the departed, is now a haunting realm where lost souls are ensnared.
Confronting the Corruption
Players can tackle the Gate of Elidinis boss solo or in groups of up to ten. Preparation is key; mining Moonstone and crafting Spiritual Barriers are essential to combat the pervasive corruption. Strong Mining, Crafting, Divination, and Agility skills will prove invaluable in cleansing the statue fragments and repelling Amascut's influence. Check out the official update announcement below!
Rewarding the Effort
Completing the Gate of Elidinis offers substantial rewards. Players can acquire new skilling and combat equipment, including the Runecrafting Off-Hand "Runic Attunement" and the Divination Off-Hand "Memory Locus." A new Combat Prayer, a fresh God Book, and a charming boss pet, Edie, are also up for grabs.
A supplementary Gate of Elidinis Hunt event provides additional loot. Collect shards and complete tasks to unlock cosmetic overrides and temporary buffs with the assistance of the Priestesses of Elidinis.
