T-Mobile Unveils Experience Plans: More Perks, 5-Year Price Lock at Reduced Cost

Author : Aaron May 22,2025

In early April, T-Mobile unveiled two new family plans designed to succeed the Go5G and Go5G Plus offerings, featuring unlimited talk, text, and premium data. These new plans, "Experience Beyond" and "Experience More," retain the advantages of Go5G while introducing new benefits such as a 5-year fixed price guarantee, increased mobile hotspot data caps, T-Satellite with Starlink for "Experience Beyond," and more—all at a reduced monthly cost.

T-Mobile's Experience plans are now available in two distinct tiers. The "Experience More" plan provides 3 lines for $140 per month with AutoPay (or $185 per month without), plus taxes and fees. The "Experience Beyond" plan offers 3 lines for $180 per month with AutoPay (or $230 per month without). Here's a breakdown of what each plan includes:

  1. T-Mobile Experience More ($140/mo with AutoPay)

    • 5-year price guarantee
    • Upgrade-ready every two years
    • Unlimited talk and text
    • Unlimited 4G & 5G LTE premium data
    • Netflix (standard with ads) subscription included
    • Apple TV+ subscription included
    • 60GB of high-speed mobile hotspot data

  2. T-Mobile Experience Beyond ($180/mo with AutoPay)

    • 5-Year price guarantee
    • Upgrade-ready every year
    • Unlimited talk and text
    • Unlimited 4G & 5G LTE premium data
    • T-Satellite with Starlink service (through end of 2025)
    • Netflix (standard with ads) subscription included
    • Apple TV+ subscription included
    • Hulu (standard with ads) included
    • Unlimited mobile hotspot included

    • Unlimited text, 15GB of high-speed data in 215+ countries & destinations
    • Full-flight texting and Wi-Fi with streaming where available
    • Watch & tablet lines just $5/month

The "Experience More" plan caters well to most users, offering unlimited talk, text, and premium 5G and 4G LTE data at $45 per month (with AutoPay), along with a 5-year price guarantee and subscriptions to both Netflix and Apple TV+. The option to upgrade every two years is practical for those who don't feel the need to change phones annually.

For those who crave the latest in smartphone technology, need to connect additional devices like tablets or Apple Watches, or travel frequently and require higher international data allowances or Starlink connectivity, the "Experience Beyond" plan is a compelling choice at $60 per month (with AutoPay).

Did you know? T-Mobile offers incentives for switching carriers

Under its Family Freedom initiative, T-Mobile will cover up to $800 per line to help pay off phones from AT&T and Verizon—even if they're locked—and provide a new smartphone upon trading in the old device. Families can benefit from deals such as four flagship smartphones at no cost and four new voice lines for just $100/month on Essentials.

Families can save 20% at T-Mobile compared to AT&T and Verizon.

These plans with no yearly contract - What does that mean?

Not to be confused with your phone's financing plan

T-Mobile's "Experience" plans are postpaid and do not bind you to any annual contract, allowing you to cancel your service at any time. However, if you finance a phone through T-Mobile, you must continue payments for the agreed term, typically 24 months. While you can pay off your phone early, doing so might mean forfeiting monthly bill credits T-Mobile often offers. Always read the fine print before entering any contractual agreement.
