Gacha game enthusiasts are always keen to see how their favorite titles perform financially. January 2025's figures are in, and they reveal some interesting trends.
Genshin Impact's major update, featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner, proved a massive success. MiHoYo (HoYoverse) more than doubled its revenue, raking in a staggering $99.4 million compared to December 2024's $45.6 million.

Pokémon TCG secured a strong second place with $64 million in revenue, while the popular "female gacha" title, Love and Deepspace, rounded out the top three, earning $55.2 million.
Honkai: Star Rail saw a dip in earnings, reaching $50.8 million, and Zenless Zone Zero experienced a significant decrease, with revenue halved from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that these rankings only consider mobile platform revenues. While some games, like those from miHoYo, also have PC versions, those earnings are not included in these figures. Furthermore, the data includes a clarification regarding revenue calculations from China: "Since Google Play does not exist in China, the estimates published for Android data in China are determined using a multiplier based on iOS revenue in the country."
