Trophy Hunter has launched a major update called Duels for Friends. As the name implies, the focus is entirely on playing—or rather, competing—with friends. You can now send invitations using a special link shared via SMS or messaging apps, allowing both new players and existing fans to jump into the action together.
What’s New in the Update?
The Duels for Friends update brings hot-seat duels to Trophy Hunter. These asynchronous one-on-one matches let you demonstrate your shooting skills and earn bonus rewards. Following the game's global release on July 3rd, this feature marks a significant addition to the experience.
While league-based play already encouraged engagement in Trophy Hunter, the update provides new tools to build personal in-game circles, invite friends, and challenge them directly. Clubs also benefit, as new players can join existing ones or establish fresh clubs with their friends.
How Do the Duels Work?
Duels introduce another competitive format to Trophy Hunter. Each match consists of three rounds and operates asynchronously, so players take turns at their own pace within a set timeframe.
A challenger picks an opponent from their friends list, selects an arena that both players have unlocked, and begins the first round. From there, turns alternate, with in-game notifications ensuring no one misses their chance.
Before taking their next shot, players can even review replays of their opponent’s moves. After three rounds, the winner collects rewards, while the loser has the option to instantly request a rematch.
Your first duel of the day against a particular friend provides an extra reward, though you can engage in unlimited duels overall. To maximize earnings, challenge as many friends as possible and aim for consistent wins.
Alongside duels, Trophy Hunter has expanded its roster of arenas. In addition to the nine original launch maps, two new locations are now available.
One of these is Northern Lights, which challenges players with long-range shots set against the stunning backdrop of the aurora borealis. The eleventh arena, Scottish Highlands, offers unique terrain and tactical challenges.
