Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been delayed again, now slated for October 2025. The game's official Twitter (X) account shared the news on March 26, accompanied by a video update.
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann provided insights into the current development phase. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Paradox has been keeping the community informed through Dev Diaries over recent months, covering aspects like characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to prioritize the game's polish, all Dev Diaries have been paused temporarily.
First Revealed in 2019
Bloodlines 2 was initially unveiled in March 2019, with an original release date set for March 2020. Developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time, the game faced its first delay in October 2019, moving to an unspecified date in 2020, and then to 2021.
During this period, the project saw several lead departures. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would step away from the project, handing over the reins to The Chinese Room. Subsequent delays shifted the expected release from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is now scheduled for release in October 2025 across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay updated with the latest on the game by checking out our article below!
