Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling new free DLC today called the Emerald Diorama, which brings a unique crossover with Square Enix's iconic fantasy RPG series, SaGa. This update is the most significant one yet for the game, infusing it with JRPG vibes that fans of both franchises will love.
Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces an exciting new stage designed like a mini world map, complete with world-hopping elements that enhance the gameplay experience. Players can explore over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to those who sing cursed songs, adding depth and variety to the game.
The update also includes more than 16 new weapons and introduces the innovative Glimmer system, allowing players to randomly acquire new skills during their runs. Additionally, the game now features nine new music tracks, enriching the auditory experience.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players need to visit Moongolow and interact with a new merchant. By purchasing the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, you can then unlock the content piece by piece. The DLC also introduces character parties, enabling players to form their own mini squads for a more collaborative gameplay experience.
Furthermore, the DLC adds two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns with six chapters each. "To End an Ice Age" is designed for the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" expands the content of the new DLC.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
In addition to the Emerald Diorama, the base game has received another free update called The Coop, which introduces a chicken-themed twist. Players can now enjoy a new chicken character named Gazebo, along with a new weapon and a relic that speeds up the game.
The Coop update also offers numerous achievements and the opportunity to unlock Darkana. By collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens, players can unlock the full potential of The Coop update. A helpful tip for players: refrain from killing anything for the first minute of playing The Coop to unlock the Gaze of Gaea, which can be evolved with Parm Aegis to unlock Gazebo.
