Author : Skylar May 14,2025

The Lunar New Year festivities continue to brighten up January, and World of Warships Legends is joining the celebration with a thrilling Wukong-themed event. This event brings the legendary Monkey King, Sun Wukong, from the classic novel "Journey to the West," right into the heart of naval combat, adding a mythical twist to Wargaming's popular naval battle simulator.

Sun Wukong needs no introduction, being a beloved character in Asian literature, and now he's making waves in World of Warships Legends. The Lunar New Year event introduces Wukong as a commander guise available for all nations, accompanied by the Pan-Asian Tier VII Premium cruiser Wukong. Alongside these, players can enjoy a variety of skins inspired by characters from the novel.

But the celebration doesn't stop there! World of Warships Legends is bringing back previous Lunar New Year content, including the Celestial Guardian commander guise, complete with daily bonuses. Players can also look forward to Pan-Asian and Japanese ships adorned in ornate skins. Don't miss out on the Lunar Year '25 crates, available in the store and in-game, which offer exclusive rewards, including the Japanese Tier VI Premium cruiser Tokachi.
