Author : Nathan Apr 28,2025

Microsoft has unveiled an exciting lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles set to join the service in the first half of April 2025, featuring a mix of first- and third-party games that promise to captivate players. Highlights include eagerly anticipated titles such as South of Midnight, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition, and more.

This impressive month was detailed in a recent Xbox Wire post, which announced that the rollout will begin tomorrow, April 3, with Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (available on Cloud, Console, and PC) across all tiers. Joining the fray on the same day are All You Need Is Help (Console), Still Wakes the Deep (Xbox Series X | S), and Wargroove 2 (Console), all accessible via Game Pass Standard. This initial wave promises to keep Xbox enthusiasts engaged throughout the month, but the excitement doesn't stop there. On April 8, just five days later, subscribers can dive into South of Midnight (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (Console and PC) across all Game Pass tiers.

South of Midnight, developed by Compulsion Games, is set in the Deep South and offers a folklore adventure that is poised to be one of Xbox’s major releases this year. Its inclusion in Game Pass is sure to draw in a large audience eager to explore its unique setting and narrative. Microsoft’s official description teases players with the promise of "exploring the mythos and confronting mysterious creatures of the Deep South in this modern folktale while learning to weave an ancient power to surmount obstacles and face the pain haunting your hometown."

The lineup continues with Commandos: Origins (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 9, followed by Blue Prince (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) on April 10 for the same tiers. Rounding out the first wave of releases, Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PC) will be added to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 15.

In addition to the new titles, Xbox Game Pass perks are also set for a refresh in the first half of April 2025. Notable perks include the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire on mobile devices, and an anniversary Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves fans.
