Half of these games are primarily multiplayer experiences. Escape Academy, notable for its acclaimed co-op mode and longest Game Pass tenure (since July 2022), will be available for free on the Epic Games Store starting January 16th. Removal times vary, but most games are typically removed near the end of the day.
The next removal wave is anticipated on January 31st, with details expected alongside the January 2025 Wave 2 additions. Confirmed day-one additions for that wave include Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. Further announcements are anticipated during the Xbox Developer Direct on January 23rd.
