Yu Suzuki Launches Steel Paws on Android

Steel Paws, an exciting new action RPG exclusive to Netflix subscribers on Android, is brought to you by the legendary Yu Suzuki, the mastermind behind SEGA's Virtua Fighter and Shenmue. In this game, you'll embark on an adrenaline-pumping journey, punching your way up a colossal tower with an army of battle-ready robot cats at your side.

What’s the Story?

In Steel Paws, you step into the shoes of a purple-haired warrior clad in a mechanical suit, ready to take on robotic adversaries. Accompanying you are your loyal Buddy Robots—feline machines that not only serve as your fiercest weapons but also enable you to execute powerful team attacks, launching them at enemies like furry missiles.

The adventure begins when an ancient tower suddenly erupts from the ground, sending shockwaves across the world. Drawn to a mysterious floating stone adorned with cryptic markings, your hero ventures inside. However, upon entering, her robotic feline companions are immediately captured. A chilling, unseen voice challenges her to fight her way to the top of the tower if she hopes to rescue her friends. Thus begins your ascent, floor by floor, battling mechanical foes and unraveling the tower's hidden mysteries.

Steel Paws Is a Sci-Fi Fantasy

The game's combat system is designed to be fluid and engaging, rewarding players for well-timed strikes and strategic use of special moves. Each attack from your robotic cat companions is accompanied by a mighty meow, adding a unique flair to the battles.

Steel Paws offers checkpoints midway through each stage, ensuring that if you're defeated, you won't have to start over from the beginning. You can also adjust the difficulty to suit your skill level, making the game accessible to a wide range of players.

Incorporating roguelike elements, Steel Paws ensures that every replay of a stage brings new challenges, with changes in enemy placement, resources, and map layouts. The environments themselves add variety, featuring unique hazards such as shifting sands or slippery ice, keeping the gameplay fresh and exciting.

At its heart, Steel Paws is all about fast-paced melee combat. If you're a Netflix subscriber, you can dive into this thrilling experience on the Google Play Store.
