Ready to play? Turn on your sound and hit the START button to dive into the action. Your challenge is to correctly spell 10 words. The excitement ramps up with weekly and monthly contests where speed matters: the fastest speller each week wins $100 USD, while the monthly champion takes home $1000 USD.
You don't need to be the quickest to win though. If you're 13 years or older (except where restricted or prohibited), and you manage to spell all 10 words correctly within 5 minutes, you're automatically entered into a weekly random drawing for a $100 USD prize. The more you play, the more chances you have to win.
During the game, if you make a spelling mistake, simply use the BACK key to correct it. Need to hear the word again? Just press the HEAR key. Once you've spelled a word, hit the ENTER key to move on to the next one.
After the contest, check the results page to see if you or your friends made it onto the leaderboard. The top 100 fastest players' names and game times are displayed, subject to verification according to the Official SPELLIT® Game Rules.
