Planning to head out and avoid a downpour? Check our live rain radar and forecast graph before you leave to stay dry every time.
The Buienradar app opens with either a 3-hour or 24-hour rain radar forecast. The radar image shows precipitation for the next few hours or the coming day. Below it, the rain graph displays the exact timing and predicted rainfall intensity in millimeters. For a more detailed view of your area, tap the magnifying glass icon to zoom in.
The Buienradar app is available for Android phones and tablets. Its handy home screen widget, featuring the rain graph, lets you check for rain without opening the app.
The Buienradar Wear OS app has returned! Use it to view the rain radar, rain graph, and the forecast for the next hour. More features will be added in the coming months. Please note the Buienradar Watch App is only available on the Google Play Store, as it supports Wear OS devices.

Find personalised weather updates in the "Komende uren" table (Next 8-hour forecast) for your saved locations, including hour-by-hour predictions for temperature, feels-like temperature, rainfall in mm, chance of rain, and wind force in Beaufort.
In addition to maps for thunderstorms, snow, sunshine, wind, and temperature, we also provide data on wind chill, ground temperature, sun intensity, air pressure, wind gusts, visibility, humidity, and precise sunrise/sunset times for your location.
We offer seasonal radar maps too. In summer, use our pollen and mosquito radars to get timely alerts for when to use your mosquito net. In winter, our snow radar tracks winter precipitation, and a dedicated ground temperature map warns you of frost.
Under the "14-daagse" tab (14-day forecast), view the weather outlook for the next two weeks in a graph. Click the "Lijst" tab for a detailed list view, showing an hourly forecast for the next 7 days and daily averages for the following week.
The "Meldingen" tab lets you create custom rain alerts. Set free push notifications based on your daily schedule and favourite locations so you're never caught off guard by rain or storms.
To enjoy the app without ads, subscribe to Buienradar Premium for €4.99. Find it easily in "Instellingen" ("Settings") and tap "Neem Buienradar Premium" (Get Buienradar Premium).
