Power Cruise Control (PCC) is an innovative navigation app designed specifically for electric commercial vehicles like the Fiat e-Ducato 47 kWh and Fiat e-Ducato 79 kWh. It stands out from other electric vehicle applications by addressing range anxiety through its advanced features.
PCC is unique because it:
- Connects in real-time to the vehicle via a Bluetooth OBDII dongle, providing accurate data on the State of Charge (SoC), State of Health (SoH), vehicle speed, instant power, and more.
- Communicates constantly with the driver through an intuitive interface known as the Heaven-Hell indicator, which is crucial for ensuring arrival at the destination. Following the foreground view and adhering to PCC's indications guarantees successful travel.
- Understands the orography of the trip, including uphill and downhill sections and the overall itinerary.
- Calculates energy consumption for the entire trip, taking into account regeneration during downhill driving, air temperature, A/C and heating usage, and numerous other factors to deliver reliable predictions.
- Shows charging points near your location and along your route.
Using Power Cruise Control is straightforward:
- Connect your OBDII dongle.
- Set your destination.
- Select your energy strategy.
- Follow the Heaven-Hell indicator to reach your destination safely.
With these simple steps, you can confidently reach your destination, guided by the PCC Heaven/Hell indicator to manage energy consumption effectively.
New features include the MultiCharge options, which provide real-time status of connectors (where available from the provider). Within the app, you can choose between mph or km/h and Celsius or Fahrenheit.
To use PCC, you'll need an OBDII Bluetooth adapter. We recommend the Official Power Cruise Control adapter, available at https://amzn.eu/f49WbjO. Other OBDII adapters may work but are not fully tested. The licensing method is linked to the vehicle's VIN, offering a single license that provides multiple benefits:
- Use Power Cruise Control on multiple devices, including Android and iOS* (*if PCC is available on iOS for that car model).
- Allow an unlimited number of users to use PCC with the licensed vehicle. For instance, a family needs only one license for all members to use the app.
- Request your car dealer to license your car as a purchased gift.
- If you buy a used car that's already licensed, you can use PCC on the vehicle for the remaining license period.
You'll receive a free 30-day trial period with unlimited functionality. After the trial, the subscription will be activated. The suggested price is 24€/year*, tax included. *The actual price may vary by country according to store policies.
