Application Description

iAnnotate is a handy Android application enabling you to annotate and write on any PDF saved on your device, offering a diverse range of colors and writing options. This app simplifies note-taking in class or clarifying points within important work documents.

Four editing options are available: freehand writing, underlining/striking out, text, and notes. Freehand writing allows finger-drawn annotations—ideal for creating visual notes like circles and arrows of varying widths. Underlining and striking out enable you to highlight or delete text regardless of length. Text and notes offer similar functionality but with distinct characteristics: text allows for writing in any direction, while notes create watermarked annotations requiring a click to reveal the content.

These features promote clarity within each paragraph, ensuring both personal and shared understanding of the text. Upon completion, edited PDFs can be shared via email or opened using any installed reading application. iAnnotate is an excellent solution for modifying PDF files, which are typically inaccessible to standard text editors.
