Aether Gazer's latest update, "Echoes on the Way Back," introduces significant new content available until January 6th. This includes Chapter 19 Part II of the main storyline, coupled with a side story, "The Ibis and the Moon – Moonwatcher," hinting at pivotal plot developments.
The update's centerpiece is the S-Grade Modifier, Verthandi. This light-attribute melee Modifier boasts three distinct combat styles: a defensive counterattack style, a high-burst damage style, and a sustained DPS style, offering adaptable gameplay. Verthandi's compelling backstory, revealed through hyperspace experiments, adds depth to her character.

Further enhancing gameplay are new Ultimate Skillchain combos, such as "Light the Path: Phantasmal Dawn" (Hera & Verthandi) and "Thunder in the Hills: Roaring Thunder" (Thor & Shu). A new Sigil, "Cycle of Time," provides ATK boosts, Mod Index Multiplier increases, and Crit DMG buffs under specific conditions. The 5-star Functor, Elf – Geironul, is also introduced, designed to synergize with Verthandi for amplified damage output.
