Then there's the Latias ex and Latios combo, which feels like a scene straight out of a romance movie with their connected artwork. Latias, the rarer and pricier twin, goes for over $200. It seems like big sibling energy comes with a higher price tag. Meanwhile, Milotic ex is strutting its stuff with dramatic light and shadow, while also countering Tera Pokémon like a meta card.
My personal favorite? Ceruledge. It's like a neon fever dream, and I mean that in the best way possible. This is the first time its card has been truly valuable, and I think illustrator Rond deserves a round of applause—or at least a coffee. Ceruledge might not be a top-tier competitive Pokémon, but with this art, I couldn't care less.
If you're a collector, the value potential is undeniable. If you're a player, some of these cards are game-changers on the battlefield. And if you just enjoy shiny things and the thrill of spending $45 on cardboard, you're in good company. I've already opened one box, and I'm convincing myself I "need" another for research purposes.
The bundle comes with six booster packs, so you're not guaranteed any big hits, but with how quickly these are selling out, I wouldn't wait too long. After all, Pikachu isn't going to pull itself.
