Arknights: Endfield January Beta Test: Expanded Gameplay and New Features
Get ready for the next Arknights: Endfield beta test, launching mid-January! This new phase, announced on December 25, 2024 by Niche Gamer, boasts significant improvements and additions based on player feedback from the previous test.
Expanded Roster and Gameplay Mechanics:
The upcoming beta expands the playable character roster to 15, including two Endministrators, each featuring updated models, animations, and special effects. Players can select from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.
Combat has been refined with new combo skills and a dodge mechanic. Item usage and character progression systems have also been adjusted for a more engaging experience.
Base Building Enhancements:
The base building system receives a significant overhaul with new mechanics and tutorial levels. Expect new defensive structures and the ability to construct and expand factories via outposts in various locations.
The beta also includes a revised storyline, new maps, and challenging puzzles.
Beta Test Sign-Up and Content Creator Program:
Registration for the beta test opened on December 14, 2024. While the recruitment deadline and beta start date remain unannounced, selected players will receive an email notification with installation instructions.
Simultaneously, Arknights: Endfield launched its Content Creator Program Vol. 1 (sign-up: December 15th - 29th, 2024). This program offers selected creators access to the official community, exclusive perks, and special events. Applicants can apply under two categories: gameplay insights (reviews, lore discussions, streams, etc.) and fan creations (memes, art, cosplay, etc.). While meeting requirements doesn't guarantee selection, applicants should submit links to past relevant work.
