Castle Doombad Unleashes Free-to-Play Mayhem on Android

Castle Doombad is back! The popular tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, returns as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay on Android. Developed by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, this mobile version offers a thrilling experience for players.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single Castle Doombad remake. However, they've cleverly divided the project into two: Free To Slay for mobile and Castle Doombad Classic for PC and Nintendo Switch (releasing later this year). Classic offers a remastered experience with updated content, while a sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Unleash Your Inner Villain!

Embrace your wicked side in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay! Build a formidable lair, defend it against heroic do-gooders, and utilize traps and minions as your ultimate weapons.

Check out the game trailer below:

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) features the original 70 stages, daily challenges, endless modes, over 30 traps, and 100+ unlockable items. A customizable cosmetics system, "spoils," lets you adorn your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts. Pair these with "Baddie Bonus" perks for added advantages.

A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds a layer of replayability with randomly generated castle layouts and powerful Nightmares to collect. Download Castle Doombad: Free To Slay from the Google Play Store today!
