"Diablo 4: All Forgotten Altar Locations Revealed"

Author : Emily May 13,2025

A new kind of power is coming to *Diablo 4*, and it’s sure to be familiar to fans of fantasy series like *Harry Potter* and *Agatha All Along*. However, joining a coven and mastering its mysteries isn't a walk in the park. Here's your guide to finding all the Forgotten Altar locations in *Diablo 4*.

How To Find All the Forgotten Altar Locations in Diablo 4

The Season of Witchcraft introduces a new Questline that allows you to delve into the realm of Witchcraft Powers. These powers are divided into three major categories – Eldritch, Psyche, and Growth & Decay – each focusing on different aspects of occult magic. To unlock these abilities, you must gain favor with The Coven, which involves earning Restless Rot by completing various missions.

As you progress, you'll be able to upgrade structures near the Tree of Whispers, known as Altars. While most players will concentrate on these main Altars, there's another, more elusive type – the Forgotten Altars. These grant access to the potent Lost Powers, but locating them is no easy feat.

Unlike the main Altars with fixed locations, Forgotten Altars appear randomly within dungeons across Sanctuary. This means you'll need to do some grinding, but the season's Questline will often lead you into these dungeons, potentially minimizing the extra effort. The payoff is significant, as Lost Powers are among the most powerful abilities in the game.
