Nearly three decades after its initial release, Paul W.S. Anderson's cult classic film, *Event Horizon*, is set to expand its universe with a gripping prequel. IDW Publishing has announced *Event Horizon: Dark Descent*, a new five-issue comic series that promises to delve into the harrowing events preceding the film and unveil the mysterious fate of the Event Horizon's original crew.
Helmed by the talented team of writer Christian Ward, known for his work on *Batman: City of Madness*, and artist Tristan Jones, acclaimed for *Aliens: Defiance*, *Dark Descent* will also feature vibrant colors by Pip Martin and stunning cover art from Ward, Jeffrey Alan Love, Martin Simmonds, and Joshua Hixson.
