Overwatch 2's Winter Wonderland 2024: Free Legendary Skins Guide
Overwatch 2's seasonal events consistently introduce new content. Winter Wonderland 2024 is no exception, offering limited-time game modes (Yeti Hunt and Mei's Snowball Offensive), themed cosmetics, and, importantly, several free Legendary skins. This guide details how to acquire these coveted rewards.
Four Free Legendary Skins
Winter Wonderland 2024 offers four free Legendary skins:
- Casual Hanzo
- Chic Widowmaker
- Cozy Cassidy
- Merry Marionette Echo
Unlocking Casual Hanzo
The Casual Hanzo skin is available throughout the entire event. Earning it requires completing Winter Wonderland challenges. Specifically, play 8 games of Quick Play, Competitive, or Arcade modes (wins count double, requiring only 4 wins).
Unlocking Additional Skins
Three additional Legendary skins (Chic Widowmaker, Cozy Cassidy, and Merry Marionette Echo) became available on December 19th, 2024, and remain obtainable until January 6th, 2025.
- Merry Marionette Echo: Complete 3 games (wins double progress).
- Cozy Cassidy: Complete 6 games (wins double progress), including a matching highlight intro.
- Chic Widowmaker: Complete 9 games (wins double progress), including a matching highlight intro.
