Free Fire to debut new Winterlands: Aurora event to mark the festive season

Author : Jacob Feb 16,2025

Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings the chill with new features! This snowy season update introduces Koda, a new character with unique abilities, enhanced movement mechanics, and seasonal events.

Koda, an arctic native, utilizes a mystical fox mask granting him Aurora Vision. This ability allows him to detect enemies hidden behind cover (excluding crouching or prone players) and highlights enemy positions during parachuting.

The standout addition is Frosty Tracks – ice-covered rails enabling players to dash, shoot, turn, and utilize throwables while traversing the map. Strategically placed Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins, collectible even while gliding. Frosty Tracks appear in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.

Aurora Events further enhance the winter experience. Battle Royale features aurora-affected Coin Machines, while Clash Squad offers aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Completing event quests by interacting with these items provides buffs for the entire team.

While Free Fire remains a top mobile game, exploring other multiplayer titles can broaden your gaming horizons. Check out our list of the top 25 best mobile multiplayer games for more PvP and co-op options!
