Freedom Wars Remastered features a total of eight CODE levels. Progression is linear; you cannot revert to a lower CODE level. Each CODE level unlocks additional Entitlements and operations.
How To Increase Your CODE Level In Freedom Wars Remastered
To check CODE upgrade requirements, consult your Accessory in your cell by selecting "Check CODE Upgrade Conditions." This typically involves reducing your prison sentence to a specific year milestone and acquiring certain Entitlements. Regularly check this menu to avoid wasting Entitlement Points on unnecessary upgrades. Donating high-value resources and weapons is an efficient way to earn Entitlement Points.
Meeting the listed conditions is crucial for CODE rank advancement, but your CODE level is also intrinsically linked to the main storyline. Completing main story missions and operations, alongside fulfilling the upgrade conditions, is necessary to pass the CODE exam (a story element). Sometimes, the main story itself serves as the CODE exam for the next level.
Operations are categorized by CODE level, reflecting their difficulty. Most operations are completed through story progression, but optional operations may become available to assist players who might not be fully prepared for their new CODE level's challenges.
