Garena Teams up with TiMi to Bring Delta Force to Mobile Globally

Garena's Delta Force: A Global Tactical FPS Launch

Get ready for the global release of Delta Force, courtesy of Garena! Previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, this tactical FPS is launching a PC Open Beta on December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025.

Originally developed by NovaLogic, the project was later acquired by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of Call of Duty Mobile) and is now being launched globally in partnership with Garena. The game will feature cross-progression between PC and mobile platforms. In 2025, Garena and TiMi plan a full launch across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.

What's in Store?

Delta Force offers two exciting game modes:

  • Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air. Players are divided into four-person squads.
  • Operations: A high-stakes extraction shooter mode for three-person squads. Teams scavenge for loot, battle enemies, and race against the clock to reach an extraction point. This mode features bosses, restricted areas, special missions, and a rare item – the MandelBrick – that unlocks exclusive skins (but broadcasts your location!).

Loot acquired in Operations can be used in future matches or exchanged for in-game currency. Players can also take down opponents to acquire their gear.

A Nod to the Past

This new Delta Force boasts sharp, realistic graphics and maintains the tactical depth of the original 1998 release. Long-time fans will undoubtedly appreciate the nostalgic elements.
