Genshin Impact Version 6.0: Unveiling Nasha Town and Nod-Krai
Recent leaks from Genshin Impact's beta servers suggest the locations of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai, both anticipated for Version 6.0. With Natlan's storyline nearing completion, development focus shifts to Snezhnaya, the Cryo Nation ruled by the Tsaritsa. Snezhnaya's immense size, potentially exceeding Sumeru and Liyue, necessitates a regional division, with expansion planned across future updates.
Initial leaks suggested Nod-Krai as a separate region in Version 6.0. However, recent datamining confirms its placement as an autonomous province within Snezhnaya, acting as a crucial trade hub connecting the Cryo Nation to the rest of Teyvat. Liben's statements place Nod-Krai in Snezhnaya's southernmost area, suggesting access via Fontaine or Natlan.
Leakflow, Extra, and footage from The_Strifemaster reveal a placeholder landmass in the Version 5.4 beta, situated beneath Fontaine's western waterfalls. This landmass intriguingly connects to Mont Esus, a rumored Fontaine expansion. While not confirming Mont Esus's release timing, this discovery strongly points towards Nasha Town and Nod-Krai's integration.
Nod-Krai: A Lawless Province
Nod-Krai is both a city and region on Snezhnaya's southern border. Despite some order maintained by the Voynich Guild, it's known for its lawless nature. A significant Fatui stronghold, led by the popular Harbinger Dottore, operates within Nod-Krai. Nasha Town is a key settlement within the province, and its inhabitants are rumored to possess pre-Elemental Teyvat powers.
Dividing Snezhnaya might prove controversial, but its sheer size makes a single-year release improbable from both narrative and development perspectives. Following Natlan's Archon Quest conclusion in Version 5.3, subsequent updates will gradually introduce Snezhnaya. While Capitano's fate remains unclear, Skirk, a character linked to Khaenri'ah's Five Sinners, is slated to become playable in Natlan. Barring delays, Version 6.0 is projected for September 10, 2025.
