Elite Challenges Return in Conflict of Nations: World War 3

Author : Gabriella Jun 29,2025

Conflict of Nations: WW3 is bringing back one of the most anticipated and beloved features in its latest update — Elite Challenges. This fan-favourite mode returns with a fresh twist, promising balanced, skill-focused gameplay that rewards strategy over spending.

Elite Challenges are high-stakes, clan-versus-clan battles designed for seasoned players. To participate, you must be at least rank 25 and ready to play without any premium currency advantages. That’s right — gold is completely disabled in these matches, ensuring a level playing field for all involved.

What makes Elite Challenges stand out even further is the boost in resources and progression. Players will start with double the usual resources and production, along with immediate access to the tech tree on day 10. This sets the stage for larger armies, deeper strategies, and more dynamic warfare than ever before.

Two specially selected maps — Mediterranean and Antarctica — will kick off the return of this competitive mode. Each offers unique terrain challenges and strategic opportunities, giving alliances plenty of room to test their tactical prowess.

Elite Challenges were always popular among Conflict of Nations veterans due to their intense team-based gameplay and focus on pure skill. However, as Dorado Games explained, maintaining balance and fairness across a growing player base became increasingly complex. With this reimplementation, it seems they've found a way to bring back the experience while addressing many of the previous limitations.

For those looking to expand their strategic horizons beyond Conflict of Nations: WW3, we’ve got you covered. Check out our curated list of the top 25 best strategy games for iOS and Android — perfect for anyone seeking deep, engaging gameplay right from their mobile device.
