How To Become a Ghoul in Fallout 76

To transform into a Ghoul, players must reach level 50 and accept the "Leap of Faith" questline. This journey takes you to the Savage Divide where NPCs guide your transformation. While the process itself is straightforward, the decision comes with both advantages and drawbacks.
Advantages of Ghoul Transformation
Ghouls gain two powerful abilities: Feral and Glow. The Feral meter starts at 100% and gradually decreases, but can be replenished using Chems:
- 80%+: +3 Strength, +3 Endurance, +30 Max HP
- 60%+: +15 Max HP
- 40%+: -1 Endurance, -5 Max HP
- 20%+: -3 Endurance, -15 Max HP, -10 Max AP
- 0%: +150% Melee Damage but significant penalties to multiple stats
The Glow ability boosts maximum health and provides radiation-based healing. Ghouls also gain exclusive Perk cards that stack with human Perks, plus immunity to diseases and reduced reliance on food.

Drawbacks of Ghoul Transformation
The transformation comes with consequences - some factions will become hostile, potentially blocking certain quests. Ghouls also suffer Charisma penalties, making social interactions more challenging. However, new NPC Jaye Vo provides disguises to help mitigate these issues.
Is Ghoul Transformation Worth It?
Despite the drawbacks, the benefits make this transformation highly appealing. Players can revert to human form anytime (though this locks out the "Leap of Faith" questline until completion). After finishing the questline, transforming again costs just 1,000 Atoms.
For those ready to embrace this new gameplay style, the Savage Divide awaits with fresh challenges and opportunities.
