Konosuba: Fantastic Days is Shutting Down with a Potential Offline Version

The popular mobile RPG, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, is set to conclude its service on January 30th, 2025. After nearly five years, both the global and Japanese servers will shut down simultaneously. Despite this, developers are planning a limited offline version preserving the main storyline, key quests, and significant events. Further details on this offline version are pending.

Regarding in-game purchases, all in-app purchases were disabled on October 31st, 2024. However, existing Quartz and other acquired items remain usable until the service ends. Players eligible for refunds on unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 can submit requests until January 30th, 2025. Official channels will close on February 28th, 2025.

KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, the first mobile game based on the KonoSuba franchise, launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021. The game featured a charming storyline, appealing visuals, and a visual novel-style story mode. Unfortunately, it shares the fate of many gacha RPGs, succumbing to challenges such as maintaining player engagement and managing high production costs.

With only a few months remaining, now is the time to experience KonoSuba: Fantastic Days before its closure. Download it on the Google Play Store. For more gaming news, check out our coverage of Orna: The GPS MMORPG's Conqueror's Guild.
