"Leaked: Zenless Zone Zero Patch Cycle Duration Revealed"

A recent leak from Zenless Zone Zero suggests that the current patch cycle is set to conclude with Version 1.7, before the game transitions into its Version 2.0 update. Since its debut less than a year ago, Zenless Zone Zero has been steadily expanding its universe with regular updates, introducing new features and characters that have kept the RPG community buzzing with excitement.

2024 marked a triumphant launch year for Zenless Zone Zero. Not only did it earn a nomination for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards, but it also saw a surge in popularity with each new release. The game even collaborated with McDonald's to offer exclusive merchandise, a testament to its growing influence in the gaming world. With the recent release of the 1.4 update, fans are eagerly anticipating the 1.5 update, which promises to introduce two new playable units, a new area, and possibly a new skin for Nicole Demara. However, a new leak hints that the current patch cycle might extend longer than initially anticipated.

According to reliable leaker Flying Flame, Zenless Zone Zero's current cycle will wrap up with Version 1.7, followed by Version 2.0. The cycle after that is expected to end with the 2.8 update, leading into Version 3.0. This pattern differs from other HoYoverse games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, which concluded their first cycles with Version 1.6. Should this leak prove accurate, Zenless Zone Zero could distinguish itself by providing an extended content cycle for its players. Additionally, another leak from the same source indicates that developers are planning to introduce 31 new characters across future updates. Currently, the game features 26 playable characters, hinting at a robust expansion of the roster in the coming months.

Zenless Zone Zero Leak Suggests Next Patch Cycle Duration

- Version 1.7 followed by Version 2.0 - Version 2.8 followed by Version 3.0

While Version 1.7 might still be months away, players can look forward to the imminent 1.5 update. This patch will introduce a new main story chapter, a new area, various events, and most notably, the addition of two S-Rank units, Astra Yao and Evelyn. Astra Yao is rumored to be a valuable support character in team compositions. Earlier leaks hinted at Astra Yao's materials, suggesting players might want to start farming in preparation for her arrival.

The Version 1.4 update, set to end in late January, introduced Hoshimi Miyabi, a highly powerful unit. However, it also sparked controversy due to alleged censorship issues. The developers swiftly addressed the reported bug and compensated affected players, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining a positive gaming experience.
