Letterlike's roguelike nature ensures each playthrough offers a fresh challenge with procedurally generated letters and obstacles. The possibilities are endless, leading to countless victories.
Each game begins with a set of letters. Your objective: create meaningful words, accumulate points, and conquer levels. Each level comprises three rounds.
To progress, you must amass sufficient points by forming high-scoring words, similar to Scrabble. However, you only have five attempts (lives) per round, demanding strategic wordplay.
Facing an unpromising letter combination? Don't despair! You can discard letters, but these discards are limited, so choose wisely.
A handy rearrange mode allows you to drag, drop, and shuffle letters to optimize your word creations.
The final round of each level introduces a twist: a special ability renders some letters worthless, yielding zero points.
Earned points and rewards unlock helpful items to enhance your gameplay. Some buffs are automatically applied, while others require reaching specific levels. Collected gems further assist in acquiring powerful upgrades, smoothing future runs.
