Director Ji-Won Choi recently penned a heartfelt message to fans of Lies of P, celebrating the game's first anniversary and teasing upcoming DLC and a sequel. The letter expresses gratitude for the community's support and highlights the team's dedication to enhancing the game's strengths while addressing past shortcomings.

Expanding the Puppet's World

Choi's message emphasizes a commitment to building upon the core elements that made Lies of P a success. The DLC promises to deliver a new story, expanding upon the dark, steampunk world of Krat. Concept art reveals a snowy location featuring a mysterious lighthouse, hinting at new challenges and environments.

A snippet of the DLC's soundtrack, titled "Lisrim" (composed by onoken in 2022), was also shared. While described as "new," its similarity to existing Lies of P music is apparent, reflecting the game's overall aesthetic. The accompanying music video features imagery consistent with the game's style.

Release Date and Future Plans

While a specific release date remains unannounced, NEOWIZ's Q1 2024 earnings report indicates a launch within the second half of 2024. The DLC is slated for release alongside several other NEOWIZ titles.

Previously released concept art showcases additional environments, including an imposing industrial complex and a treacherous shipwreck, further expanding the scope of the upcoming content.
